It was absolutely wonderful to join Daphne and Klaus for their civil registration in London. I know Daphne from her sister’s wedding, so I was honored and delighted to be invited to share another moment with them. Surely enough, when we met on Saturday I found myself amidst many familiar face, including (randomly enough) a highschool mate I hadn’t seen in 10 years!
The day was low-key, the atmosphere relaxed, and, in a surprising turn of events, the weather was warm and sunny! After the civil registration we moved to a local Chelsea restaurant, where the large windows made for some of the nicest lighting I’d seen in quite a while. Daphne and Klaus are wonderful together and during our short walk/photo shoot around the block I was happy to see them equally at ease in front of the camera.
Thank you both for having me there, have a Happy Easter and I hope you enjoy these!
“I was very worried about getting all the right people captured on our big wedding day. I wanted to make sure that I’d get a perfect souvenir of each moment of the ceremony and the following events. I also got scared that the pictures wouldn’t reflect the true atmosphere or our real emotions. But thanks to Vlad and his understanding of the vibes and dynamics we managed to get everyone and every single moment perfectly captured. Vlad has this incredible skill of integrating a group of people he has never met with much comfort and move around so that all pictures could have been taken by a family member or the bride herself. We were very lucky to have been recommended Vlad and would not hesitate to recommend him to my best friends and colleagues for their big day. Vlad is respectful of the uniqueness of each moment of a wedding. He captured the most perfect and subtle shot without us feeling intruded. Vlad is very reliable, passionate about his work and very professional. We definitely ask him to join us once we renew our vows.”
